In the Footsteps of the Legendary ALSIB
The modern geopolitical situation takes us away from the fact that in moments of the heaviest trials nations and governments are capable of putting aside disagreements and uniting for the sake of a common goal — peace, prosperity, and mutual understanding. A vivid reminder of this was the recent meeting of the presidents of Russia and the USA in Alaska, which inspired a group of enthusiasts from both countries to a bold and symbolic project — an international aviation expedition on small seaplanes along the route of the legendary “Alaska-Siberia” (ALSIB) track. This is not just a journey, but a large-scale cultural and educational mission, intended to revive the memory of the joint fight against Nazism and to build new bridges of friendship beyond modern political barriers.
